ashleyhaugh Posted September 21, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2016 My mom and I have reservations for the Mystery Dinner Theater on the first nigh of our December cruise on the Liberty. Will the kid's club be open?
AmandaThomas Posted September 21, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 21, 2016 How do you look into booking things like that? My travel agent says documents will be ready 2-3 weeks before departure. I have my booking number and can order drinks packages and excursions. Is there a way to see on board itinaries etc? This is my first cruise, still learning. haha
Tin can Posted September 21, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 21, 2016 The childrens clubs have always been open first night on all our previous cruises. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
spookwife Posted September 21, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 21, 2016 Yes the clubs will be open their normal hours after dinner. The surcharge starts at like 9 or 10 pm. Amanda: no there is no real way to see on board activities up front. You can ask about copies of Compasses to be linked showing past schedules based on the ship and specific itinerary, but you can't count on things being exactly the same. Your cruise documents should be ready around 7 weeks before the cruise. Edited September 21, 2016 by clarea

vettecruiser1 Posted September 21, 2016 #8 Share Posted September 21, 2016 I was on the Liberty in July 2016. AO only opened from10:00pm-2:00am and it was for a surcharge $10 an hour.
sharktums Posted September 21, 2016 #9 Share Posted September 21, 2016 I believe kids club opening up on the first night depends on a number of factors: - Ship - Date - Length of cruise - Number of children onboard

If the club wasn't open, what would my options be? Ds will only be 9, so not old enough to be alone, especially on the first night
spookwife Posted September 22, 2016 #11 Share Posted September 22, 2016 Then you skip the adult activity you have scheduled. Sent from my iPad using Forums
brenderlou Posted September 22, 2016 #12 Share Posted September 22, 2016 (edited) From my experience the kids club has never been open the first night during dinner hours. If not open its either in room babysitting or cancel your plans. There is a family thread you can post on. Give details on ship and date. There's usually the kids cruise compass you can view as well. I just googled Adventure Ocean compass liberty of the sea day 1. Adventure Ocean is only open for registration on day 1 which has always been my experience on all the cruises/ships I've been on. So maybe you might be able to meet your mom at the mystery dinner at 6:45 if you have all of his paperwork ready?!
