xeroxme Posted October 10, 2016 #51 Share Posted October 10, 2016 So since I want to get a balcony, and do not want to be one deck above smokers, since smoke rises, how do I find out which parts of which decks are smoking areas before I book. I have been on some ships where the promenade deck port side was smoking and some had the starboard side smoking. I have learned that phoning Carnival and asking them is useless because if I ask 3 different employees I get three different answers. Unfortunately no deck or level will be smoke free necessarily. Smoking is not allowed and I can't say if they will or won't be able to enforce it. It really depends whether your neighbors smoke or not. I have been cruises where I smelled all the time and cruises where maybe smelled it once. No rhyme or reason to who will smoke on their balconies. You safest strategy would be decks further to the front of ship and maybe lower. I hope you find a cabin to your liking Sent from my iPad using Forums
golfb4cruzing Posted October 10, 2016 #52 Share Posted October 10, 2016 Undereducated, you will be my poster child of uneducated you don't know me nor I you. Today the difference is the stuff is much stronger and unless used for real medical reasons such as seizures then it's drug use which is a problem. So let's be clear when your getting heart surgery you want to pass out weed so the doctors and nurses can get high before they operate?? And please don't educate me on how it's good for the economy with taxes. We have more drug treatment centers going up by alarming rates in this country. Off my soapbox! Sent from my iPad using Forums Instead they show up under the influence of alcohol, which there are cases. As a victim of surgical error, and 8 years now of chronic pain, there are clear cases of beneficial attributes. Let's see how long Ohio drags their feet now that it's been somewhat approved. I didn't get into the tax dollars involved but they are huge. Of course that will be abused the same way the Lottery for School is. I think less unemployment would help keep people busy and less treatment would be needed. Why is nothing shown on alcoholism rates in the country?
