SailBadtheSinner Posted October 14, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2016 Read the article, very interesting, but have 2 questions concerning the penultimate paragraph which reads: Twelve extra cruise ships are to call on St George each year from 2017 to 2022 as part of a deal between the Bermuda Government and Norwegian Cruise Lines. What NCL cruise ship(s) are these, new builds? Would this also include docking in Hamilton? Anybody? SBtS

Fares are high on those lines. I think some will include calling in Hamilton. Some of their itineraries are long ones that would not be called Bermuda cruises but cruises that have Bermuda as one port. modelman Posted October 25, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 25, 2016 So it looks like Bermuda will have 11 more cruise ship calls next year, but because many are from smaller ships, they will have approximately the same amount of passengers arriving. Contract calls are down by 10, I think. But lots more calls at Hamilton and St. George's. http://www.royalgazette.com/tourism/article/20161025/americas-cup-cruises-scheduled
