callmehalia Posted October 26, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2016 I believe it's $40 for bingo, but like the PP said, they do $20 bargain bingo sometimes.
gwsster Posted October 26, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 26, 2016 Bingo is a big money maker for NCL. Most 3 card games are $40.00 and they do have a single card bargain game during the week for $20.00. I am glad that they went back to the paper cards and don't use the Bingo machines anymore. Cruisin'Christine Posted October 26, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 26, 2016 I just sailed last week and Bingo was $39 for a package that gave you three cards for each game, plus a number of raffle tickets for the win a cruise draw. There was also a more expensive package of $60+.

tlc64 Posted October 26, 2016 #7 Share Posted October 26, 2016 $39 per game that seems like a lot, so once somebody gets a bingo its over and you have to pay another $39 to get3 more card?
eiffeltower07 Posted October 27, 2016 #8 Share Posted October 27, 2016 Packages are $39-$69 depending on how many cards you want for each game I think it's 3 cards for $39 and 9 cards for $69. You receive a sheet with color coded BINGO boards for each game. They usually play 3 games.

laslomas Posted October 27, 2016 #10 Share Posted October 27, 2016 What are the prizes at the Bingo, are they worth playing for? Do they have one of those games where the prize just keeps getting bigger and bigger as the cruise progresses just to keep folk coming back for more? kollegekreed Posted October 27, 2016 #11 Share Posted October 27, 2016 I've done the math before and they are keeping like 75% of the money they collect. It's a huge ripoff.
cincicruisers Posted October 27, 2016 #12 Share Posted October 27, 2016 Do they supply daubers for the games? What are the "instants"?
kollegekreed Posted October 28, 2016 #13 Share Posted October 28, 2016 No daubers. They are punch cards. Instants are pull tab tickets that proport to have a $5,000 winner every week but I've never actually seen one and they aren't regulated by any authority so who knows how many they sell or award... Nola26 Posted October 29, 2016 #14 Share Posted October 29, 2016 (edited) I had one Bingo experience with NCL on the Sky in 2014. I thought it was expensive, the prize pool low and too few prizes and I didn't have fun playing. It is the one experience I know I participate in with NCL again. oceanswimmer Posted October 30, 2016 #15 Share Posted October 30, 2016 I have always found bingo to be pretty fun so I played it twice on one of our cruises with NCL but when I realized how expensive it was to play and how crummy the payouts were I quit playing. It's not fun when you feel like you're being ripped off. NCL needs to be a little more fair with the payouts before I'd play again.
renjrusa Posted October 30, 2016 #16 Share Posted October 30, 2016 Any idea how much Bingo games are? We just came of the Sky and I can tell you it cost 30$. That was for a card with one column of cards(3). They only played a single game which was you had to completely fill all the numbers. If you did this in under 47numbers drawn you win the 3000$, or 4000$ if it was after the 48th number you won a consolation prize.. think it was 350$ or something.. You also received 5 raffle tickets to the final nights raffle drawing for a free cruise for 2.. My wife played a few times and I just watched..And of course payed at the end as it was on our statement...
