shipgeeks Posted October 30, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2016 Any tips on how to safely get more sparkle back into my rhinestone earrings and bracelets?
CutieKakes Posted October 30, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 30, 2016 You may have already tried this, but you can use some glass cleaner (or rubbing alcohol) on a soft cloth to clean the stones. Although, if the stones are already scratched/hazy/discolored etc - no amt of cleaning will restore them. Good luck!
mafig Posted October 30, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2016 Did they get wet? I remember reading that the shine comes from a material in the back of the stone and if it gets wet it's ruined.

shipgeeks Posted October 30, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted October 30, 2016 Thank you, all. Mafig, no, they didn't get wet. They just don't get worn very often, and I'd like to see if I can brighten them up before next cruise.
