ccdaniel2707 Posted November 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 15, 2016 Are we allowed to take our luggage on as a carry on if we only have one piece? We are doing a 3 day on Thanksgiving and we will only have one suitcase..... Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
mishka422 Posted November 15, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 15, 2016 Yes. It just needs to be able to fit through the scanner (just like the airport). Sent from my SM-G925V using Forums mobile app

Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app It has to fit through the security scanner machine in order to be able to carry on this ship. "When laying flat, it must not exceed 16 inches high x 24 inches wide (40.64cm x 60.96cm); the length of the bag is not a factor. Anything larger, must be checked-in with a curbside porter." https://help.carnival.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1373/~/embarkation---luggage-information
Julienatul Posted November 15, 2016 #4 Share Posted November 15, 2016 yes if it is small you can. Large bags have to be checked so they can be x-rayed
maldenmusic Posted November 15, 2016 #5 Share Posted November 15, 2016 Yes if it meets the size guidelines. You will also have to carry it around with you until 1:30 when you can get in your cabin.
riffatsea Posted November 15, 2016 #6 Share Posted November 15, 2016 There are no rules about how many bags you can bring on board. The only rule is that you have to be able to handle them yourselves. We only do carryon and never check luggage. We each have 1 rolling suitcase and then either a backpack or large tote. We can easily handle them and if they fit through any screening at an airport then they'll fit going onto the ship!! NO worries!

Some cabins are not ready at 1:30. Could be way later.

easyboy Posted November 16, 2016 #11 Share Posted November 16, 2016 I have never had this happen. Agree, very unusual. Unless additional sanitation is required when the previous sailing experienced spread of virus.
