Hmm something to look forward too:eek::eek:

No, I hope not but it is a fact of life. It boils down to how many pass away versus how many new ones are created. If the overall number of Plats/Diamonds stay level, then no need to change things. If it declines, then maybe Golds would be allowed to come back to the party. If it increases it could very easily turn into a Diamond only party.

BTW at the Magic plat/diamond party they didnt even bother to collect invitations. anyone could have come in

That's interesting since when they first dropped the Golds there were very diligent at the doors asking for invitations. It's a shame if they have started dropping the ball on this too.

Could be they want people to crash and than say too many people are coming so they will drop the whole thing.

Plat/Diamond party was so nice when you had the chance to walk around and talk to people both crew and passengers.

Sitting in seat for half hour waiting for drink and hors doerve (sp) server to come around is rather boring

Whats gunna happen when too many people are P/D and priority boarding just becomes boarding. Just like the party became too crowded im sure priority boarding will suffer.

The 11/16 Vista repositioning Journey's cruise was like this. Close to 1,500 P/D plus fttf, wedding & suites. It was the most disorganized boarding that I've experienced. The lines were shorter at the non-priority check in, due to the staggered arrival times. Everyone with priority boarding tend to show up at the same time.

Just off the Vista and they didn't even ask for the invitation. I saw quite a number of non P/D cards that were probably accompanying someone who was...
