kierra Posted December 10, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2016 Take a look at the Freeport Dock on Google maps. It's clearly a Carnival ship, but which one? My husband thinks it's the pride but I don't think so. Thoughts?
RHilla619 Posted December 10, 2016 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2016 Took me a little while to find it, but that was kind of fun lol! I agree on it being the pride, 2 pools mid ship, aft pool, and glass funnel.
Rare dctravel Posted December 10, 2016 #3 Share Posted December 10, 2016 When was the Pride drydocked? There is clearly work going on on the ship. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
WLHyatt Posted December 10, 2016 #4 Share Posted December 10, 2016 (edited) It would be a spirit class vessel, and unless the imagery is a bit old it would have to be Pride. The one I want to figure out is the one in dry dock just to the east of the cruise port at the grand bahama ship yard. It is a fantasy class with the water park so not Elation or Paradise. Raxter54 Posted December 10, 2016 #5 Share Posted December 10, 2016 The imagery is dated as 2/11/2016. CruiseTT shows the Pride as being in Freeport on the 12th. Any idea what ship was in drydock at that time?
Rare dctravel Posted December 10, 2016 #6 Share Posted December 10, 2016 Here is an unofficial dry dock schedule. Last Spirit class ship seems to have been 2015 (Pride in 2014). http://www.embarkandaway.com/carnival-drydock-schedule.html Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
Rare Essiesmom Posted December 10, 2016 #7 Share Posted December 10, 2016 (edited) She is clearly tied up at the passenger/cruise pier, not anywhere near the drydocks. However, there is a Fantasy class ship there in drydock, and in fact, it is Carnival Fantasy as she had an empty schedule 7-19 Feb of this year. It looks like there are a ton of containers all over the ship. Hard to tell from above, though. sammee Posted December 10, 2016 #9 Share Posted December 10, 2016 Looking like Pride to me. I can pick out where I sat up one level to watch a divein movie.

In the pic below: Red circle is the Pride at passenger cruise dock: And the yellow circle is Fantasy in drydock, with lots of containers on deck: EM
