Kmermaid Posted December 16, 2016 #26 Share Posted December 16, 2016 New to cruising and was wondering can you bring your own limes onboard? I like my G&T with lime.

Not sure if there are rules against bringing fruit, but the bars do offer lime slices in drinks.
mpoole3 Posted December 16, 2016 Author #28 Share Posted December 16, 2016 Just bought the rum and coke for my Majesty cruise next month! Pretty excited to try something new. I'm curious if I'll enjoy it or not. I'm going to take one of my coke cups from past cruises to make one to go for the pool deck.
2hearted Posted December 16, 2016 #29 Share Posted December 16, 2016 Not my liquors of choice, but not a bad deal for those that like Rum or Gin. If my math is correct that works out to about $3 a shot even including the cost of the mix. So pretty cheap. Your math is incorrect. There are 45ml in a standard shot. So, it is closer to $5 per shot. Still not bad, considering you get some sofa too. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
Rare sparks1093 Posted December 16, 2016 #30 Share Posted December 16, 2016 Good to know but makes other cruise lines' prices look reasonable.

nolesrule Posted December 30, 2016 #34 Share Posted December 30, 2016 Not sure if there are rules against bringing fruit, but the bars do offer lime slices in drinks. Except that one time a couple years ago where there was a lime shortage, and they were substituting lemons... blech.
Bars7816 Posted December 30, 2016 #35 Share Posted December 30, 2016 https://secure.royalcaribbean.com/royalgifts/onboard-delivery/wine-cellar/alcohol/ Just about fell off my chair! Those Washington white wines are about $7.00 at the local grocery. So thanks, but I'll bring my own as long as they still allow it.
Rare bobmacliberty Posted December 31, 2016 #36 Share Posted December 31, 2016 Wonder why this is NOT available on the listed ships. Seems to be a mix of classes and ports that are not allowed. Maybe it's up to the individual Master or Hotel Director to determine if they want this on their ship?? Maybe RCL can't get their act together quickly and these other ships will come later? Can't think of any other logical reason why some ships would be yes and others would be no.
kruzer1 Posted December 31, 2016 #37 Share Posted December 31, 2016 (edited) Prices are waaaaaay out of line with reality! $35 Beringers Blush is under $5 normally. Sent from my iPhone using Forums Edited December 31, 2016 by kruzer1

I remember looking at a sparkling wine that was something like $18 in the store, was $36 at a restaurant, and about $70 at the Seattle Westin gift shop. And this was in '01 or so. Can't imagine what it is now.
El Abuelo Posted February 23, 2017 #39 Share Posted February 23, 2017 Just wondering if anyone had any feedback on this package. Since the OP, RCI added Johnnie Walker Red ($45) and Absolute Vodka ($38) to the list.
