Chef's Table reservation

I have confirmed Chef's Table reservations for next year on Magic. I won't know be able to finalize what night until onboard. My question is since we don't know what night we cant make reservations for steak house on another night. Is it hard to get reservations once on board ? I tried to reserve for different nights and it wont allow me to.

I have only had a problem one time getting steak house reservations on board.

 

That was the last trans-atlantic cruise and we were 3 days into the crossing, and I tried to get the reservation for that night.

 

Every other time, as long as you go early in the cruise to reserve they have space.

 

Also, you can ask at the Steak house to find out what day your Chefs table is. At least on the Vista, they managed the reservations.
