A little fun for those that have been to French Polynesia ...

I'll post a picture and let's see who can identify the subject AND from where the picture was taken ...

I'll start with some easy ones ...

For you that have never been you will enjoy the pictures ...

IC Le Moana Bora Bora from the dock just north of the bungalows?

You are correct, love the map marking the location :)

I took that picture last DEcember on the Holiday cruise while we were waiting for the boat shuttle to take us over to the Thalasso Resort for day use, a 'excursion' on the PG.

OK, time for a new picture, identify the subject AND from where the picture was taken ...

Cook's Bay, Moorea, from tender dock

Gorilla playing keyboards in the mountains at right, face looking up at the sky at left (complete with nostril hole) used to be the regular anchor for PG back in the day

I will be on my first PG cruise in July 2017 but I'm going to say that the previous picture is IC Moorea.

Notion_of_the_Ocean - That is correct ... the IC Moorea, standing on the walking bridge looking toward the open lagoon.

We will be on the July 26, 2017 Reunion Cruise ... if your going on your first PG cruise you're in for a treat ... you will never wish to return to the other 3 ships you mention ;)

Thank you cjcruiser27 for the kind words ..... many more pictures to come.

I'll put up a new picture tomorrow .......... need to pace it a bit ...

Thank you deladane ...... many pictures to share so everyone can get their 'fix' before their next trip ..

OK, here is an easy one. For you that know just state that you know and give others a chance to guess. If no one has given the correct answer by 3 pm pacific go ahead and give the correct answer ... always fun to hear the guesses by people who have never been the French Polynesia on our favorite little ship :)
