yellowhat Posted December 30, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2016 I am organizing a Roulette Pull Equinox January 9th. Interesting question was asked: Will the Casino/Dealer accept Elite Casino Vouchers as payment for the $15 worth of chips required? Anyone used their Elite Vouchers? (I am not Elite - so I don't know the 'fine print' restrictions on these vouchers. Anita Thank you Gropher(?) & Steve for the fabulous description, details and advantages of a Roulette Pull vs. Slot Pull. Our Roll Call switched after reading your postings! A Sixth? Posted December 30, 2016 #2 Share Posted December 30, 2016 I am going out today to rifle through garbage cans for returnable bottles and cans so I can make the deposit.... :p
Gonzo70 Posted December 30, 2016 #3 Share Posted December 30, 2016 In my experience using the match play coupons they are good for an additional $5 in winnings if you win the bet, but need to be played in conjunction with an actual bet (i.e. you place a $5 bet AND use the $5 match play - if you lose an even money bet you are out just $5, but if you win you receive $10). ChucktownSteve Posted December 31, 2016 #6 Share Posted December 31, 2016 I don't know the official answer however I would venture to theorize the answer is no..that you can not use vouchers since they'd be match play for regular gaming. The roulette "pull" is a specialized, concession that the Casino Manager may agree to or reject. They are under no obligation to consent. Another consideration is that if the Manager did allow the match play, they'd have to split the winning with the entire pull participants and would negate the benefit of the their match play. Maybe Gohper1934 could chime in she he was the lead.

It is only a fun event need to make it simple. Best to use your Elite coupons another time at the casino. Hope you all have a great time. I am sailing on Allure January 15th and will be doing this event.
yellowhat Posted January 1, 2017 Author #8 Share Posted January 1, 2017 Thank you everyone for your solutions and salutations solving the Elite coupon use at our Roulette Pull. The Elite participant did collect enough bottles to play. Life is good. And thank you Gropher for your guest appearance - yes keep the game simple & fun. TravelerThom Posted January 1, 2017 #9 Share Posted January 1, 2017 Before Slot machines installed buttons to activate the spins, they all used to have handles to pull to activate (some slots still have handles in addition to buttons; these handles are the "arm" in "one armed bandits"). So I get the name slot pull. The only thing that I see pulled in Roulette are the losing chips being pulled by the croupier. Not sure I want to be involved with a Roulette Pull.
