SunnyKitty Posted January 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2017 I am looking at Dolphin Discovery "Manatee Encounter" and it says "8-12 years " for the kids ticket. My son will 7.5 at the moment of cruise and he really wants to do it. Do they really care if kid is full 8 or they will let him in as long as we are saying he is 8 ? Do they run any deals for "encounter " type of package? I see discounts on dolphin swim, but not on encounter ones..
SunnyKitty Posted January 26, 2017 Author #2 Share Posted January 26, 2017 I talked to customer service guy yesterday They are sorta ok with kid being a little younger. He told me platform is not very deep in the water, so kid will be able to stand. He also offered me 10% discount
Rare mitsugirly Posted January 27, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2017 I have never heard of them having an age limit to just do the encounter. My daughter did it when she was 3 years old. We booked the dolphin encounter and the manatee swim was added for free. :)
dusty1117 Posted January 29, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 29, 2017 Did it last February. Really enjoyed it. Your son will have fun feeding, petting, and a few surprises. Did the 2:30 time and there was only one other couple. Book on line. Don't go through ship. Cab ride was short. He'll probably enjoy the seal show which is included in price. Lockers, dressing rooms available. Have to buy pictures and expensive. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
