Rare Auntiejo Posted January 26, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2017 Any suggestions on how to get in touch with Carambola to reserve loungers/umbrella ahead of time? I've e emailed D. Sharpe twice and no response. Thanks!
paul58 Posted January 26, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2017 You could try using the messaging function on facebook. Carambola Beach Club is there facebook page.

willcruiseanythyme Posted January 27, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 27, 2017 I sent them an email on their website to reserve our beach chairs for our upcoming trip. They answered within 48 hours and reserved for us! Sent from my SM-G925V using Forums mobile app
Rare mitsugirly Posted January 27, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 27, 2017 I had the same issue with trying to contact them using their website with no response. Madu00 Posted February 11, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 11, 2017 Wondering if it is best to go first thing in the morning to be sure to get chairs/umbrella. My first thought was to do a little sightseeing first then end up at Carambola until time to get back to the ship. But now I am wondering if that's a good idea. Anyone have any thoughts on this. AnnieB925 Posted February 11, 2017 #8 Share Posted February 11, 2017 I contacted Carambola through this email: dsharpe@carambolabeachclub.com Daislyn got back to me within a few hours and we now have our chairs and umbrellas reserved. We made a reservation for 10:00 and she told me they hold them for an hour. I would imagine it does get crowded, depending on how many ships are in port that day. Keenguy211 Posted February 21, 2017 #9 Share Posted February 21, 2017 Front rows closest to beach go first then they start filling the second row etc. might as well get a full day in here..it's beautiful for swimming and snorkeling. Hungry....take a short stroll along the beach to Shipwreck for lunch although beers at Carambola were only 6 for $15 ( last Friday 2/17). Sent from my iPad using Forums We've been to St Kitts and loved shipwreck, are you saying we can walk to shipwreck from Carambola? We are thinking of spending the day here, how long of a taxi ride would you say it is? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Keenguy211 Posted March 5, 2017 #12 Share Posted March 5, 2017 Taxi ride was $4 per person to Carombola and the ride was like 10 minutes....very quick. The walk to Shipwreck was just a walk along the beach maybe 5 minutes. You can see it from carombola. We spent the day here and would have stayed longer. We had to be back on the ship by 430 so we cut out early. Lots of taxis waiting at carombola to take us back....still $4 each for the return trip. The snorkeling was really run. fitters Posted March 7, 2017 #21 Share Posted March 7, 2017 How much for chair/umbrella rental per person? Thank you in advance.
Keenguy211 Posted March 7, 2017 #22 Share Posted March 7, 2017 $10 for the each chair, $10 for each umbrella.....seemed like they gave us a "deal" for 2 chairs and an umbrella for $50. We were just there a couple weeks ago. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Josie2 Posted March 7, 2017 #23 Share Posted March 7, 2017 Deal for $50? Isn't two chairs and an umbrella $30 or do I misunderstand? We are six people so I am hoping they might give us a deal if we go there.

CallyCruzer Posted March 24, 2017 #25 Share Posted March 24, 2017 For the last four cruises to St. Kitts we have reserved our chairs and umbrellas at Carambola. Just back last week - and we have decided that will be the last time for Carambola. Rude upon check-in, rude in getting our chairs set up - and even more rude in taking food and drink orders at the bar. Too many places to spend my money to put up with the attitude.
