princessme Posted January 31, 2017 #26 Share Posted January 31, 2017 I'm surprised to see that the first formal night wasn't the first sea day, but the second sea day. Any idea if that was "non-standard" due to the late departure? It's probably because of Sunday's all day football games Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Jasperdo Posted January 31, 2017 #27 Share Posted January 31, 2017 Thank you for posting these. It's always fun to look over the Princess Patters, especially on a ship I've been on before.
Mkjens Posted February 1, 2017 #28 Share Posted February 1, 2017 Thanks for posting. Do you know if messaging is part of the princess@sea app? If you used it, how did it work? Do you need to buy internet package to use the messaging? I was told that you can set up groups or message to individuals in your group, but I don't see messaging mentioned in the articles about princes@sea. Thanks! Messaging is part of the princess@sea web app. It does work but takes a bit of set up on the devices you want to message with. On an iPhone it uses Safari web browser and you have to go lookee-see if you have messages. I've heard it can alert you but not seen it happen. You do not need internet access for this to work - it uses the ships wifi network but not the internet.
Rare Woobstr112G Posted February 2, 2017 #31 Share Posted February 2, 2017 Thanks for posting the Patters from your recent cruise. I actually enjoy reading them. It's something about a cruise and keeps me in a cruising mood for our upcoming Panama Canal cruise (Pacific Princess) in May.....:):):) Bob
fishfire Posted February 8, 2017 #32 Share Posted February 8, 2017 Thank you so much for posting the patters. I'm going on this cruise in April with a friend who has never been on a cruise before. Everyday she thinks of another question to ask. Now I'll be able to answer some with more specific information. tuleia Posted February 11, 2017 #40 Share Posted February 11, 2017 Thanks KruzeKrazy. Although that is what is indicated in these Patters ... someone had posted in December 2016 that Ruby's 1st formal night was the First sea day after embarkation ... so I'm attempting clarification as we are planning to dine at the Crown Grille on whichever sea night is not Formal Night. Thanks, again.
Ladybuggers Posted March 16, 2017 #41 Share Posted March 16, 2017 Just got off Ruby Princess yesterday and scanned all the Patters. I will also be posting the schedule for the Princess Pelicans 3-7 kids program. Enjoy! Is there a difference between "Traditional Enhanced" Dining from Traditional Dining? Ladybuggers Posted March 16, 2017 #44 Share Posted March 16, 2017 According to Cruise Critic (I think it might be outdated) They have Wheelhouse Bar (Deck 7): Everyday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., the venue serves up a complimentary pub lunch (think shepherd's pie and fish and chips).
