Just left the port in Gustavia

A few thoughts on this port. First, there is a tender ride ( about 20 minutes) If your looking for a designer purse, dress, watch, you'll find it here as the stores in this port appear to all be designers - and it's expensive. I looked in a small store selling mostly touristy things - a beach cover up I liked was 400 euros ( about $450 Cdn).

We didn't book a shore excursion but this is probably one port you should. We walked around town, then made our way to Shell beach ( which is any easy walk from the port) It's not a big beach but was good for swimming and tons of small shells.
