mafig Posted March 3, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 3, 2017 In looking over availability for Seaside YC1 suites, I seem to find all dates "no availability." Is this truly the case? This is for the first five months of 2018. I haven't looked at the MSC website yet (can't bring myself to put myself through that).
LMCruise Posted March 3, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 3, 2017 This morning I booked a YC1 for a family member on an April 18 sailing. It gave me 4-5 cabin options. This was for 2 persons, and the cabins were 3 person cabins. Are you trying to book 4 or 5 people?
LMCruise Posted March 3, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 3, 2017 I just looked and there are 4-5 person YC1 in April. I think you need to look on the computer.

When we booked the Seaside in January for February 2018 and there were only 5 YC1 cabins available to choose from them!
mafig Posted March 3, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted March 3, 2017 OK, thanks. I was just looking at one particular TA website (one that I'm most familiar with). I'll look further.:)
deliver42 Posted March 4, 2017 #6 Share Posted March 4, 2017 The one thing the MSC website does well is show available cabins. After they show the recommended cabin, go to the upper right and click on the change cabins. It will show cabins on each deck in your catagory, what's available, and what's taken. Then we opened other windows to the 3-4 big box travel websites and found plenty of rooms and choices for YC1 Deluxe Suites before we booked our Seaside B2B in 2018 at one of the big box TA's. I just took a really quick look at the first couple weeks of January 2018 and found 4 of such on one TA site.
mafig Posted March 4, 2017 Author #8 Share Posted March 4, 2017 Thank you everyone. I did look further and I did see more. I'm not booking yet, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't running out of time.;) Also, I wanted to see where the Deck 18 suites were situated relative to Deck 19, which I don't think is released yet. Deck 16 will probably be preferred I would think, but who knows.
