Will I lose OBC if I take advantage of price drop?

We booked early saver for our July cruise back in December. And last month I noticed our rate went down and they were also offering $50 on board credit per room. So I called and took advantage of the better rate with OBC. Tonight I noticed our rate dropped another $20 per room (we have 2 rooms booked) but they're no longer offering the OBC. So if I take advantage of the price drop would I lose that OBC?

Yes you will lose the obc you have now. I'm in the same exact spot. Got two drops and was able to maintain the obc I had from that rate. My cabin dropped again by $20pp about a week ago but there's no obc with that rate so I've opted out of calling it in. I would be down by $10 if I did.

Keep checking.

Just a side note as others have answered your questions.

It's usually not much but always calculate you original port taxes to the current ones

when checking on price drops. This will effect the price drop also.

I did this a few years back. There was a $10 pp price drop so we submitted the form,

however the port taxes went up $8 pp so we only had a $ 4 net gain.

Just some FYI
