teacher_md Posted April 2, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2017 Going on the Jade in a week. Excited to see all of it's updates. The pictures look phenomenal! Wanted to see what people thought about the following - What is your favorite entree on NCL (including specialty restaurants)? What is your favorite dessert on NCL (same!)? I'm ready for some eatin'! - AJ

Kierste Posted April 3, 2017 #6 Share Posted April 3, 2017 See if they have crepes on the buffet at night... we missed them on the Pearl... they were there but we didn't know. But we found them on the Escape and skipped dessert every night and went and got those instead.... Nutella and banana (it's not advertised, but they have it behind the chef)... yum! poona1 Posted April 3, 2017 #7 Share Posted April 3, 2017 To the OP... Just search the NCL forum with the words "food", "menu" or "specialty", I am sure you will come across several recomendations but no more lobsters Otherwise, In the buffet, the indian food, the crepes, the prime rib, the smoked salmon (if they have it), bread pudding In cagneys, any steak is good (Porterhouse, Tomahawk chop, ribeye), baked mushroom soup, crab cake In Lebistro, try the duck, escargot, coq au vin, lamb, napoleon, chocolate fondue I could go on and on, but you will find a lot of advise if you search a little...thanks

sandyh85 Posted April 3, 2017 #11 Share Posted April 3, 2017 Personally I love the fact that some places are a la carte. Means I can go for LeBistro coffee and profiteroles on the Waterfront after my MDR dinner next month on the Breakaway!
