mjgep0316 Posted April 9, 2017 #102 Share Posted April 9, 2017 Great review! Waiting to board Anthem now, but we've been delayed due to extra sanitizing. They gave us a letter and said there were some reported illnesses on the last cruise. Did you see or hear of any illness? gaylemh Posted April 9, 2017 #103 Share Posted April 9, 2017 On every cruise I've ever been on I get my make up done one night by a professional artist. It's fun to try different things and let them work their magic. There wasn't anything in any compass- I just go their early on in the cruise and make an appointment. The anthem had a bobby brown specialist- some cruises it is Clinique, Lancôme, etc... The gal on anthem was GREAT with zero sales pitch. She couldn't care a less whether I bought or not. I did buy something that was same price as back home (actually, back home might even be cheaper); but she was so good I wanted to give her a sale. I also tip and it's always appreciated :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Was the makeup done up in the spa at a cost or at the Bobby Brown store on deck 4? When I went in to ask about getting help with make up, I was told it was free if you purchased 3 products.

I have never ever paid and I've gotten this done in 4 royal Caribbean ships (plus princess and not). I can't remember if Hal charged. Only time it was not possible was on MSC. Rare BermudaBound2014 Posted April 9, 2017 Author #106 Share Posted April 9, 2017 Made it home safe. Delta was still a cluster but my flight was one of the only ones not delayed. Weather back in Detroit was near 70 so all is well. I just received my final statement and low and behold the $12.38 random mini bar charge was applied. I even took a pic of the water bottles with my embarkation card so they know they were there when i left this morning. I'm certain rcl will make it right, but calling is always a hassle. This happens so much it's clearly a procedural error that rcl should fix and not leave it up to the customer to call to have charges reversed. Silly way to leave a bad taste. Tee & Chilli Posted April 9, 2017 #107 Share Posted April 9, 2017 The happens so much I would think Royal would have it resolved. I think I'll do a cash account to try and avoid this happening.

I think it's pretty obvious that the company does not want this fixed. If they make a mistake with a low cruise fare, it's fixed in a couple of hours. However, fixing something that reduces their income eludes them.
