This ship is magnificent but arent there any other ships that are bigger than Titanic? I mean even first Queen Marry is bigger than Titanic (I remember visiting in San Diego). Therefore, in my opinion, comparing it to Titanic is not all correct. I would rather compare it to some of the recent ships of a similar size

No more huge portico, but those cranes can lift  the bits & pieces  left to install.

Almost every ship is larger than the Titanic in the major cruise line's fleet. I believe I read someplace that the Titanic was only 18,000 tons. That may be an error, but that's what I read.

Not sure how much they'd want to fudge the Icon passenger numbers reported to the SEC.

I'm sure there is leeway as long as its not significant.

Titanic was around 49 000 BRT. Very small compared to these monstrosities of RCI. I am not a big fan of those ships with the aft looking not at all like a ship- but thats our modern times. The bow sections get smaller ( shorter)  by the ship- the aft more bulky.

Anyhow the box section of RCI ships are still much nicer than those of the X- ships!

Now that I see the cantilevered observation area glass railing covered  in white in the first photo, I know for sure what this is...

My favorite part of the ship to grab a cocktail before dinner.
