zerooveride Posted May 13, 2017 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2017 I've had Port Canaveral as a port of call on 3 of my cruises. Each time when I've gotten off the ship there was both budget and Enterprise courtesy vans waiting. From personal experience Enterprise was the nicer one of the two. MotherofTrips Posted May 14, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted May 14, 2017 Use this URL -> http://www.kqzyfj.com/click-1504631-12443633Enter code X219971 We are flying into MCO and rented a car one way from MCO to the port for five people and the total was under $65. They have a free shuttle form the rental place to the terminal. That discount code saved us a ton! Thank you! Tagsalong Posted May 14, 2017 #5 Share Posted May 14, 2017 We've used Hertz many times, both into and out of Port Canaveral. Their office is close to the port and they have a van for pick-up and drop-off. Don't know about hours of operation but I don't think you can leave a rental car after the office closes. turning40withMickey Posted May 14, 2017 #6 Share Posted May 14, 2017 We have rented a car several times at Port Canaveral. Avis and Budget are what we used, and I pick the lowest price. Period. If you get off right away, there are often shuttles waiting. If you are a little later, you can call to have the shuttle come pick you up if you have reserved a car. I always reserve and pay at pickup, putting no money down on the reservation. We have dropped off after closing each time. We drop everyone but the driver off back at the ship and then one person takes the car back and gets a cab ride back to the pier. The rental companies have always given us a business card with a number to call for the ride back. It is very common. You might try priceline. I found it to have the best price for a minivan or larger SUV, as we have six in our group.
