Has anyone done the Mont Saint Michel excursion from Princess ?

Have not done the excursion, but have visited Mont St Michel. It is beautiful. But there are lots and lots of steps. Take it slowly.

Did it April 2016, ages 71/69.

There are no cons to Mt Saint Michel. We ran late but because Princess tour no problem. I imagine even more tourists in summer. There is some steep climbing but it's a bucket list item. People broke off from Princess guide to do own thing. Just meet at scheduled time and place

Go. We did it on our own, but while there ran into friends on a shore excursion who were loving it. It's a unique place and when you get to the top you'll be amazed by the church and monastery built and preserved there.

Make sure to watch them whipping eggs for the omelettes at Mere Poulard. But skip eating there---seriously overpriced.
