Is there a beach in walking distance of the ship?

Several beach clubs on Carlisle Bay - about a 20 min walk from the ship (or a $5 per person cab). Walk out of the port, turn right and keep the ocean on your right. Boatyard is the first you will come to; Lobster Alive and Harbor Lights are also popular. Taxi back to the ship is about $5 per person (free with your Boatyard admission fee)

We visited the Boatyard on our last trip, and it's about a 20 minute walk from the ships (we took a taxi; it was maybe a 5 minute ride). It's $20 including a lounge chair, umbrella if they aren't all taken, a drink, and transport back to the ship. Nice bathrooms, free wifi, it was really a great find! http://www.theboatyard.com/

Next door to there is Lobster Alive, which we hit up for some fantastic late lunch. They also have loungers and umbrellas if you like a quieter venue.
