renech Posted May 19, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 19, 2017 I don't see anything recent about this here so I thought I'd post an update from my recent experience with this. Hyatt has recently changed their member program tiers so I wasn't sure if the M-Life status match would still work, but yay, it does. So, your C&A status will give you an M-Life status, which you can then opt-in (via their website) to have matched to Hyatt. My D+ got me Hyatt Explorist status, which isn't the highest (not that I expected that) but it's better than what I had. Hope this helps our anyone else who cares about hotel status perks! PR1NCESSD1ANE Posted November 22, 2017 #11 Share Posted November 22, 2017 Thank you for the information, however, I have been unsuccessful getting the tier match with World of Hyatt. After numerous calls, I eventually called M Life to find out if they were holding up the process. The rep indicated that once the process went through an on-line "opt-in" with Hyatt, only earned M Life Status is recpricol. Royal Caribbean status still earns status with M Life, but can' be transferred through to World of Hyatt. Bummer :( Be thankful if you got in under the wire! SRF Posted November 24, 2017 #12 Share Posted November 24, 2017 The new Hyatt program cost me status with M-life. The old program, I was Platinum from my United card, which gave me M-Life Gold, which gave my benefits on RCI. The new program, I forget what the new level is called, but I only get Pearl with M-life, which gets me nothing with RCI. Oh well.
