Allgipan Posted June 10, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2017 Hello, We are travelling on Independence Of The Seas soon and will be stopping at Copenhagen. Is this a long walk if you wish to visit the main areas? What is the cheapest way to travel? So far I have found the hoho bus to be about £25 each!!
Danish viking Posted June 10, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 10, 2017 Is it the 17th or 29th of June, because it docks at 2 different piers. On the 17th its docked at Langeliniekaj, you just take bus 26 from the Indiakaj bus stop into town, Bus 26 stops at all the major tourist sites. On the 29th its docked at Oceankaj so here you take bus 27 to Østerport and change to bus 26 from there or take bus 25 into Nørreport and walk from there. No matter what it will cost you 24 kroner. Allgipan Posted June 10, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted June 10, 2017 Sorry to bug you, is it a walkable distance?
GradUT Posted June 10, 2017 #5 Share Posted June 10, 2017 If you are docked at Oceankaj, as it appears you are, then it definitely is NOT walkable into Copenhagen. Just use the directions for the buses which Danish Viking provided. We did both options (as we were docked at Oceankaj for 2 days) and they were both easy. Danish viking Posted June 10, 2017 #6 Share Posted June 10, 2017 Sorry, I was searching for the Navigator Of The Seas and not Independence Of The Seas. Independence is of course in port on the 4th of July, what a coincidence :-) The pier is Oceankaj so you have to use the 25 and 27 busses.
truel1111 Posted June 13, 2017 #7 Share Posted June 13, 2017 I got off from Regal Princess in Oceankaj this morning. We followed the green dots on pavement to the bus stop. The bus stop is across from a building with UNICEF sign on it . According to posted bus schedule, #25 starts at 8am. We were at bus stop around 7:15am so we took #27 instead. Posted bus fare is $3USD, 3 Euro, or 24 Kroner. It is very easy to ride the bus to train station, and into all other attractions.
