Picture Release

Does anyone have a copy of a release form so I can have copies made of photos taken onboard the Island last year? I tried the search and it isn't working.

Across the bottom on the front it says Island Princess but the back just has some numbers. I was going to try Meijer's to enlarge it but just assumed they would give me grief - maybe not.

I would give it a shot. Walmart also has a picture copy, enlargement, machine.

As long as the picture does not have the copyright symbol on it you should be able to have it copied it anywhere. As far as they (employees at a photo processing place)assume you made that fancy border or put that title on the picture yourself using photoshop or a program like that. Just make sure that the copyright symbol (a c that is circled) is on there or not (either on the front or back).

I just take mine to my local photo store which has a Kodak kiosk and had copies made. I've done this several times, resizing, cropping, etc. I didn't see a © on the photo so I figured it was OK.

Some professional photo papers have an invisable watermark on the photo that does not allow them to be scanned. However, if Pam has done it, they obviously don't!

I tried last year to have some copied and the local Walmart, Eckard and Walgreens would not because of copyright laws. I called RCCL and they gladly gave me the email address for the photog company, one quick email and they sent me a release within hours. Now I just ask for one while on board.
