Alaska Cruisetour Land Portion

Taking the 13 day southbound on August 1st. If anybody has any experience what are the hotel accomodations for Fairbanks. Are there hair dryers in the rooms in Fairbanks, Talkeetna and Denali? Thanks for the information.

We took a 13-day last summer but for the life of me, I cannot remember about the hairdryers! We tend to always take our own on trips. Perhaps a call to your TA or X could clarify. Our first cruise was a Princess southbound from Seward about five years ago. But our Celebrity cruisetour last year was truly the most wonderful vacation we have ever, ever, taken. We certainly hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Alaska is amazing. And the cruise is delightful.

We had a nice cruisetour last year from Celebirty, however they use several different hotels in some of the stops so it is impossible to say how your hotels will be. Our hotel in Denali was a complete disappoint we were to far from town to be able to wander around and get lost in the feeling. The Talkeetna lodge and Marriot in Anchorage however, wre wonderful
