Bizzie07 Posted July 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 14, 2017 This might be of interest to UK passengers. Three of us were due on Rhapsody at the end of this month but due to my husbands medical condition (Parkinsons) we decided it would be best if he did not go. We cancelled him at 39 days (without giving a reason) and initially the first RCCL agent told the TA we would lose his fare. TA then spoke with another agent who said his full fare would be refunded which has now been done. So again RCCL are unsure of their booking conditions. We did have medical insurance but now don't need to go down that road.
swoopy2110 Posted July 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 14, 2017 That's very strange. I hope your husband is ok though
Ken at the beach Posted July 14, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 14, 2017 Different cancellation rules apply for guests 3 and 4. Not sure about the rules in the UK but in the US and Canada guests 3 and 4 can cancel up to 15 days prior to sail date (final penalty phase) and receive a full refund. easyboy Posted July 14, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 14, 2017 Nice to know that your TA was persistent in talking with another RCCL agent that worked out in your favor.
