junior3006 Posted July 28, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 28, 2017 Was reading the Royal Caribbean Crown and Anchor Society face book page and a couple of people have received emails stating the Allure will leave at midnight. Has anyone heard of any issues?
km3045 Posted July 28, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 28, 2017 I just read a co-worker's email from RCCL saying Allure will leave at 11:59, due to maintenance work that needs to be performed while in port this Sunday. So, yes, it's true. They also switched the itinerary around. Monday at sea, then Labadee, San Juan and St. Martin.
rtazz17 Posted July 28, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 28, 2017 (edited) Yes leaving at midnight and itinerary is all changed.Days of port are all different.Im on this cruise as well. Disreguard,My link was not refreshed and didnt see the above answer which is all correct.Just also add that the time of day in port is different than orinally scheduled as well.So change your excursions if they were done with private vendor. I wonder how this will effect shore excursions, etc.

rtazz17 Posted July 28, 2017 #6 Share Posted July 28, 2017 So they're doing the itinerary backwards... I wonder how this will effect shore excursions, etc. This happens at times, not a big deal. The rccl ones will reschedule but the private ones you will need to take care of yourself. Milwaukee Eight Posted July 28, 2017 #7 Share Posted July 28, 2017 My PC younger brother and family on Allure right now. I sent him a message to see if he knows anything.
Milwaukee Eight Posted July 28, 2017 #8 Share Posted July 28, 2017 Baby PC brother on Allure seems to indicate they have prop issues on one AZIPOD and will be changing it in FLL. They have two other AZIPOD's but need to change/fix before leaving FLL. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
ckellogg@gmail.com Posted July 29, 2017 #9 Share Posted July 29, 2017 Do they also change the entertainment schedule with the port day changes? Or do shows stay at the time they were in the original cruise planner?
stumpmr Posted July 29, 2017 #10 Share Posted July 29, 2017 I doubt they would change a Aizopod at FLL...that is a dry dock task. They had one replaced back in 2015...one month dry dock in the Bahamas... Now trouble shooting any electrical or software maybe. Milwaukee Eight Posted July 29, 2017 #11 Share Posted July 29, 2017 Do they also change the entertainment schedule with the port day changes? stumpmr Posted July 29, 2017 #12 Share Posted July 29, 2017 Here's why an Azipod is not a simple repair at 250tons.. Sent from my SM-G930V using Forums mobile app
Milwaukee Eight Posted July 29, 2017 #13 Share Posted July 29, 2017 I once saw pictures of divers changing a part on one of Freedoms AZIPODs while she was docked in PC. Did Royal ask you to board later? Sent from my iPhone using Forums

pixidust Posted July 29, 2017 #16 Share Posted July 29, 2017 Received email yesterday notifying us of 11:59 late departure. Other family members traveling with us have not received any notification nor has the website shown any updates or info regarding this issue. I guess I shouldn't have mentioned Azipod. My PC baby brother who was aboard Allure seemed to indicate it was a prop issue. FRANKM Posted July 29, 2017 #20 Share Posted July 29, 2017 On Allure now. Checked with Suite concierges. They have not received a definitive time of departure for tomorrow. Apparently there will be a Staff meeting sometime today to give final decision. They are getting Emails from passengers also making inquiries as to changing excursions. We left maybe an hour later last week due to some type of propulsion Issue. So far an uneventful cruise.
