What Princess Cruise ship to Panama Canal would you recommend

Depends on if you are doing a full or partial transit & what ships are doing the transit when you want to go

Coral Princess. Island, Coral and Pacific are the only Princess ships that can do the original locks. Island and Coral do it regularly, both partial and full transit. Pacific does it on journeys. Caribbean will be doing some partial transits into Gatun Lake through the new Agua Clara locks. EM

Itinerary may be cause for consideration. Other than the canal, see what the other ports of call are. For me anyway, that would be more important than the specific Princess ship.

You need to decide between a full transit and a partial transit. The Full go one way between Fort Lauderdale and LA. The Partial go from Fort Lauderdale, thru the Caribbean end locks, sail into Lake Gatun and then return to Fort Lauderdale.

We don't like to fly so we are doing a partial, round trip from San Pedro (L.A.) to Lake Gatun. There and back again. 19 days on the Island Princess next month:):)

Yep! Thought it was a missed word/typo/or something because you of all people would know Coral is a Princess ship.

Gosh, I've done the same from time to time. :rolleyes: ;p
