Adventure has been added to the app.

 

It is showing all details for my sailing tomorrow. Not sure what functions are available. It isn’t showing a mobile boarding pass or anything like that. There is a button to see my folio, but obviously can’t view that yet.

The app version was bumped to 1.10.0 yesterday.

Fingers crossed that they add all of these ships fast enough that they have time to work on bringing back the onboard chat service before my April Symphony cruise!

The 1.10.0 version was released to mostly address bug fixes..

Royal has not released a schedule of the app rollout.

Adventure was added with the 1.10 version update this week. You should be able to see all your reservations - the ones grayed out are for ships not supported. No real info will be available till about 60 days out.

According to some folks on one of our Adventure roll calls, Adventure has been added to the app.

Instead of the previous 60 days worth of sailings, the app now list cruises to about 3.5 months out.

While the V 1.10.2 update lists Brilliance as being added, I don't see it yet. Like past releases it seems to take a bit of time, maybe a day, for the new added ship to show up.

The Royal IQ app texting feature is $8. Yes, texts get through without a VOOM package. This thread is about the RCI app (different than Royal IQ), which does not work on Anthem.

RCCL announced 9/20 that free onboard chat is available on Allure of the Seas. The RCCL app for smartphones has an update effective 9/20. When updated, you will see a small chat ballon in the upper right corner of homepage (says beta). The smartphone no-fee onboard functionality is currently only on Allure. I am NOT a tech person, so I am sure others can chime in with the details.

We're on Allure in 3 weeks and I'm so excited about the free texting! I recently paid for a 4-device package just so I could text my family. Question for anyone who has used this on another ship - do I need to create logins for the other people in my room so we can text each other? I'm the only one with a Royal login right now, but I'd like to be able to text my husband and son. Should I set up accounts for them? Thanks!

Please report back on whether this works and how it works. We're sailing in 2019 with a group that have different interests so folks will be separated.

This literately just came out yesterday - no other ship has it and no one has reported how it works (if at all) on Allure.

Oh, ok. I thought the other ships had it and it was $8 per cruise. That must be something different. I'll keep reading the boards to see what people report. Thanks.

Yes, that is the Royal IQ app (used on Quantum class and Harmony).
