RiVL520 Posted September 6, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 6, 2017 My sister and I are taking a cruise on the Valor in December. She is a vegan I am not. From what little research I can find on this subject I know that we will need to talk to the maitre' d when we board the ship for her MDR meals. Does anyone know about the other eating venues? Like I've heard that Guys has a veggie burger but don't know if the beans or rice at the blue iguana are vegan or not. What about the Mongolian wok is that one easily veganized? Any tips you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! 😊
LaShelle2 Posted September 6, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 6, 2017 Very easily done. There is so much variety and none of the veggies are seasoned with meat. She will love it.
LaShelle2 Posted September 6, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 6, 2017 You can call guest services before you go to flag your friend as vegan. Or email the maitre d at VAmaitred@carnival.com.
chicchic325 Posted September 6, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 6, 2017 Depending on how long she has been vegan, it should be easy enough to just ask the servers when you get there as well. I've traveled extensively as a vegetarian on Carnival, and the food is delish!
