Patriotic Cruiser Posted December 6, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 6, 2005 We just got back from a terrific cruise that included a stop in Mazatlan. We booked a tour with Mazatlan Frank and I can't say enough about it! What a terrific day. He took us to see artisans creating bricks by hand, as well as a tile maker and furniture makers. We visited a yummy bakery and got to see all kinds of great things. I feel we got a taste of what the real Mexico is like. We went to a small village called Copala and visited the cathedral and then had a great lunch that included bananna/coconut pie that was to die for! I would not hesitate to book Frank again for another visit to Mazatlan - he's just great!
flyingpirate Posted December 6, 2005 #2 Share Posted December 6, 2005 Hi - Sounds like just the type of tour I'm looking for :D. How does one find Mazatlan Frank? Does he have a website or email? Thanks!
pppiglet Posted December 7, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 7, 2005 Was your tour a full day or 1/2 day? Was the bakery at a lady called "Betty" 's house?
Patriotic Cruiser Posted December 15, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted December 15, 2005 It was an all day tour - picked us up at the pier at 7:45 and had us back by 3:30. Well worth the day. You can contact Frank at www.mazatlan-frank.com. Don't know what the lady's name at the bakery was - sorry.
cruisieparker Posted December 15, 2005 #5 Share Posted December 15, 2005 Hi, We have a tour planned with Frank in April. I was wondering if the time on the ship is the same time on Mazatlan. Frank said he would meet us at 8:15. Our ship docks at 7:00. So will we have an hour and 15 minutes to get off the ship and to meet up with Frank or is it really 8:00 in Mazatlan and we have 15 minutes. I'm sorry, I'm confused. Thanks, Sherry
slineberry528 Posted December 18, 2005 #6 Share Posted December 18, 2005 We have him booked for a tour in March. I have gotten email from him and he will be waiting for us when we get off the ship.
