Twister boat Cozumel no longer an option?

We have done the Twister boat ride to Isla Pasion several times and booked it for our upcoming November cruise on Independence. It was removed from our excursions list by Royal Caribbean. I went to see why and it is no longer an option on the cruise planner. I also exited from my cruise and just looked at the excursions by port (unrelated to my sailing) and I don't see it as an option for Cozumel on any sailing. Did something happen to this company?

We were booked on this excursion too and were SUPER bummed to get the email yesterday that it was cancelled! Not sure what we want to do in Cozumel now! Ugh!

I found the Isla Pasion By Twister excursion at Royal Caribbean, although I don't know which sailings offer it.

 

It was offered for a while for our Liberty of the Seas cruise last October (2016), but it was scheduled for 7:30 AM. That was just too early for a 5 hour excursion that ostensibly includes lunch.

I wonder what happened? We did it a year ago thru Royal with no issues.

Maybe Royal lost their contract with Passion Island? Not sure, but I am bummed!! We did this a couple times in the past and looooooved it! We are cruising with some friends who were super excited to experience this after hearing us tell them how fantastic of a day it was!!!

It was removed from shore excursioner website too. I messaged them today. They said it was no longer available because of paperwork and contract issues.
