Shadow9612 Posted October 2, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 2, 2017 I read on a different thread that Reflection is the only S class ship with connecting doors within the stateroom, and that others would use the 'vestibule' to connect. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2479742&highlight=connecting+staterooms 1. Could someone confirm that for the ECLIPSE, the connecting door is NOT inside the cabin? 2. Is there any disadvantage to having a stateroom capable of being connecting if you are NOT using the connection? For example, trying to decide between 1058 (non-connecting) and 1225 (connecting) on Eclipse. I prefer more mid-ship, so would like 1225, but anything I'm not thinking of that would make 1058 better? Thank you.
Wine-O Posted October 2, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 2, 2017 I would choose 1225 because of its location on the ship. On Eclipse, the connection is not within the cabin -- it's out in the little alcove. If you are not using the cabin as a connection cabin, the only difference between the two cabins is the door to 1225 will open inside the cabin when you enter & exit, whereas the door to 1058 will open out into the little alcove.
