Any opportunity for beach diving?

I love to dive. But, I struggle with major motion sickness on dive boats. I would love to find someplace to rent gear and beach dive on my stop in Costa Maya in February.

 

Is anyone aware of any dive shops that can help with a beach dive?

Yes look up Doctor Dive/Yaya Beach. You may get one of those "silly gringo" type responses, though. There's a breakwater about 100 meters or so off shore. between the tide line and there you'd be lucky if you stepped into a hole and the water went over your head. Shallow, sandy bottom along the male con . Great diving if you go out on a boat.
