$25 Last Minute Cruises Really Do Exist, Kind of...

I saw some fares like this for us Thursday 10/26. PVP called me the next morning and put the last cabin available on hold for 1 hour. We booked at 1:30 on Friday and were on the ship less than 48 hours later on Sunday for 7 nights cruise. It cost $25 pp with $25 pp OBC. So basically, we only paid port taxes of $240 total for both of us plus gratuities.

This was the first time I've ever gotten this offer (or at least the first time I've caught it when it was there).

My oldest son and I are cruising on a $25 deal beginning tomorrow. It was a last minute booking with a casino code that I received last weekend. We are leaving out of Tampa and just live a few hours away. It's a 5 day cruise, and we even got a $50 on board credit, so the cruise is technically free except for fees and gratuities. Our assigned cabin isn't the best, but hey, it's a free cruise.

Do they ever offer these out of Long Beach/L.A. ?

We've gotten it before. I think it was $50 pp and $100 OBC, something like that. I know we just paid port fees and taxes. Though we didn't find it on the website, it came in an email from our old PVP who's gone now.

I'm pretty sure mine was. But not 100% sure. I do get casino offers, but typically nothing as good as this one was. We jumped on it and I didn't look at it as much as I normally would. It was so last minute.

Yes mine was a casino deal. If I had booked it a week earlier than it would have been $25 but I waited and it went up to $55 for a 5 day cruise out of Miami. You need to look under "my offers" on your VIFP account and it will show what is left. There is a calendar that shows the price and then you click on the day and it brings up the cruise or cruises being offered for that day.

Funny thing about this is that I was never informed by Carnival about these cheap rates. I read about it on Cruise Critic almost a month ago and then went to "my offers" and there they were. You don't have to be a big gambler to get these rates; you just have to have a VIFP account.

You should take a look as there are also discounted rates for 2018. Nothing as cheap as the $25 cruise but still discounted.

And, once I booked the one cruise, the offer disappeared. I assumed it's one per person ? Or either they had all sold out ?

Do you remember what was the offer code or the $25 ? I currently have OWW, OWZ, and PZ1 as casino offers. The best rate on any of these is $108 and it's for 2 nights. The best 6 night is $278 and best 7 night is $378. Plus I have OVL which is 'last minute VIFP ultimate beach vacation', the best 7 night under it is $309.

I just looked and all of the cheap ones are gone. I do know that there was an expiration date that you had to book by so those really cheap rates are now gone. I believe the code was OH6 as I sent a friend of mine an email with the link for the cheap cruises and that was the code. However, when I click on the link there is nothing showing up.

My husband has a casino deal (Casino Play Repeat) under his VIFP giving $50pp cabins with loads of dates to chose from up until the first week of January so we chose a 5 day sailing from Miami on Sensation that leave on 12/28 so we finally get to go on a New Years cruise and the total was only $332.50! Awesome deal! I did see an 8 day on Vista ($225pp) that came to $724.50 leaving on 12/20 which is an even better deal but,our kids go back to school before the end of that sailing so we can't go :( It's ok though, we are VERY happy with the other deal!
