Reading very  recent reviews on Noordam, most report the ship is in good condition.   But then remember, we Aussies are used to the older ships down here.  We are on Noordam this Sunday 21 April...Sydney to Honolulu.  I shall do a review.

Ahhh, the Noordam, from her inaugural debut in '06 to the present, she is still my favorite of the Vista class ships.  They got her right.  She is comfy, classy and pleasant.  Upgrades?  Nah, she is still wonderful as she is.  Enjoy some of the older amenities while they are still around.  She will still treat you well, she is graceful, her staff professional and friendly, and most of all she is comfortable.  Enjoy her as you sail to Alaska. . . . .

It may depend on which side of the ship you are on, as well as where you are mid-ship. Starboard is quiet, while port side has a few cabins that have sound from the Queen's Lounge bleed down. Those cabins closest to the mid ship elevator are all right, then there are a few that hear the sounds, then it gets quiet again.
