Status match- classic- is that retroactive for booked cruise

So I didn't get black but my status match of classic just came back. Said 5 percent off. I have a cruise booked in December. All paid for.

 

Can I get 5 percent back even though it's paid for and less than 60 days out?

Can't hurt to ask but I think you may be out of luck. We were able to get the 5% discount on an already booked cruise once our status match went through, but we were still several months from sailing at the time and final payment had not been made.

If you're already paid in full, likely not, but you will be able to redeem it for future cruises that you book with MSC.

They will give you the option of a refund or onboard credit.
