Inkah Posted December 13, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2017 I have been twice and had a balcony on lido and also one on spa deck... i loved them both-- now im having a super hard time deciding which to do again. I love being close to the action on lido but i also love being able to walk right around corner and use the amenities in the spa... Ughh.. give me your opinions please
jeff92k7 Posted December 13, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 13, 2017 My opinion is balconies aren't worth it. We don't spend enough time in the cabin to justify the extra cost. On our last cruise (Breeze), we spent more time sitting on deck (serenity deck, Lanai, Lido) than we spent sitting on our balcony. I'd rather save the cost difference and put it towards a couple more nights in the Steakhouse or towards another excursion.
coevan Posted December 13, 2017 #3 Share Posted December 13, 2017 We would never sail without a balcony. If you like the Spa get a Cloud 9 Spa cabin. Great location and also right next to the Serenity area. We loved it
carrieluvsgreg Posted December 13, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 13, 2017 Love- love- love the spa. We always book spa when we can. We are another couple that doesn’t really benefit from a balcony. I always opt to spend that $$ elsewhere on the ship or on excursions. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Tyme2Cruise Posted December 20, 2017 #5 Share Posted December 20, 2017 We always get a spa cabin, with a balcony, on the Dream class ships. Love the spa, the access to to lido deck, and it's always quiet. IMO you can't go wrong with a cabin on the spa deck. Good luck with your choice.
