Rare Crew News Posted January 3, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 3, 2018 With a balcony room, how are the beds located if we want twin beds instead of a queen? Thanks in advance for your help. The bed can be easily separated by your Room Steward to make twins OR when you book, request twin beds.
Stpatsirish Posted January 3, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 3, 2018 They are in the exact same place as the queen, but separated with a night stand between them.
Alberta Quilter Posted January 3, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 3, 2018 The beds are located on a wall perpendicular to the verandah, where the queen bed would be, as Stpatsirish posted. I find that there is less room to move about when the beds are separated into twins. I typically travel with my DM and when we are in a verandah cabin, we request the beds be together. When we travel in an OV cabin, we choose to have the bed separated into two beds (the queen bed would typically be underneath the window, limiting access to the window). It all depends on one's comfort level of sleeping in the same bed with one's roommate.
