"Shipboard attire is always casual. Casual wear is appropriate for daytime aboard ship or ashore, and consists of standard sports outfits as worn at five-star resorts. Shoes should be non-skid, flat or low heeled for deck activities. Evening attire is also casual open-neck shirts, trousers and sports outfits are appropriate. In the evening, jeans and shorts are notpermitted in The Restaurant." https://www.silversea.com/content/dam/silversea-com/editorial/other-resources/travel-requirements/DO16079-Setting-SailGuide-SilverGalapagos.pdf

Casual is fine. I brought a few sundresses for evenings, but no cocktail dresses. Husband wore nice slacks and dress shirt for dinner.

We were on the Silver Galapagos in December. Most people wore smart casual outfits for dinner. The A/C made it quite cold in the restaurant. I would not have wanted to be in a sundress or sleeveless dress. I wore a dress once for the captain's reception night and after that long pants and a nice top with short or long sleeves. Take a cardigan. Some of the guests did not change out of their expedition clothes, and some wore jeans. No one cared or said anything to them.
