Any RECENT casino winnings?

We are sailing on the Independence of the Seas on Feb 5th, and got a great deal through our local casino to take this cruise. Just curious if anyone has had any luck...

Sure...we win a alot! But only because we play a lot. At the end of the day our casino time is always an expensive form of entertainment. Most will agree the payouts on cruise ships are much lower than land based casinos.

Ive always lost small amounts in the slots every cruise I've been on and there was someone on Anthem when we were on her in the UK who by about day 5 of a 14 night cruise was $250k down.

 

The barman I got friendly with at the casino bar wasn't allowed to give me updates after that so I don't know how he finished up.

My buddy, who I think lost about 6 or 7 hundred bucks playing blackjack, made friends with a guy at his table who by around night 5 had lost I believe 14000. Won around 1 or 2 thousand back later and was happy. I would not be happy. This is why I do not gamble.

Won the free cruise playing Bingo 2 years ago on Celebrity. Used that in Feb 2017... I would rather shop;p

Gambling is fun to its limits.someone who is down 250,000$ obviously haven't hit his/her limit,Also playing those numbers a come back isn't out of the question.You can win as quick as you lose / you can lose as quick as you win.A friend of mine says you don't lose till you die or run out of Money LOL

On Harmony August 2017 I won $3,100 on the last night of the cruise. After winning and losing all week, I think put in about $100. This was on a penny machine with $1.50 max bet.

 

I like to go to the casino right before bedtime and drink a couple glasses of wine. I don't stay long because I start to get sleepy. So that keeps me from going overboard and its fun. :D
