jonibc Posted January 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2018 We're cruising from Rome and our last port is Naples. I'd love to see more of the area than we can in one day and am thinking of just taking our luggage and skipping the last night on the cruise. Has anyone ever done that? Are there any problems? Thanks for any input.
Floridiana Posted January 20, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 20, 2018 You need to clarify this with the cruise line before the cruise.
zqvol Posted January 20, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 20, 2018 Verify with your cruise line. In Europe it is usually not an issue.
Rare John Bull Posted January 20, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 20, 2018 It's done quite frequently. And Italy instead of Italy makes it easier than most. But, as others have posted, you do need the OK in advance from the cruise line. JB :)
pris993 Posted January 20, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 20, 2018 We have done this a few times in Europe... we requested a "trip deviation" in writing well in advance with the cruise line... got confirmation in writing before booking other arrangements, i.e., air, hotels etc.
