The sea calls my name Posted February 1, 2018 #27 Share Posted February 1, 2018 Has anyone ever done the “First night done right” dining option? If so, can you tell your experience? Pretty sure we are going to do this. Just want to know what to expect and thoughts and opinions. Thanks everyone. We did FNDR this past Thanksgiving on our Oasis of the Seas cruise. We were very fortunately, that we got Chops with no up-charge. As soon as we got on board, I went directly to Chops and told the hostess that we had FNDR and asked if we could pay the u-grade fee to dine there for our FNDR dinner. She booked us at the FNDR fee and we had a fabulous dinner. I don't know if this happens often or if we were just blessed. Interesting enough there was not a note in our cabin letting us know where our FNDR was suppose to have been.

Basically 3 for the price of 1. The bill was 0 at the end of the night. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
luvscruising2007 Posted February 1, 2018 #29 Share Posted February 1, 2018 You find out when you get onboard. Go to any specialty restaurant and they can look up your reservation. Thank you, Bob.
Chiliburn Posted February 1, 2018 #30 Share Posted February 1, 2018 Not all sail away have the first night right. They are a good deal if you can get them .

starrcards Posted February 1, 2018 #32 Share Posted February 1, 2018 Just to clarify, FNDR is for the first night. Price was $15, now $20. You choose the time, RCCL chooses the restaurant. BOGO is for the first two nights with basically the same rules. Generally you can change the restaurant as soon as you board. We are going to try to snag 150 Central Park for FNDR our Oasis cruise later this month. Some posters have reported getting assigned to 150 CP originally. Others were able to change to 150 CP with no upcharge (more prevalent with the $20 price). Others have been able to get 150CP but had to increase their FNDR fee to one half 150 CP's price. Different rules for different ships and situations.
