Clarea Posted February 2, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2018 The travel plan does not cover you at sea. While at sea, calls are $2.99 per minute, and texts are $0.50 per text sent and $0.05 per text received.
Rare Keith1010 Posted February 2, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 2, 2018 My advice is to go to the Verizon web site where you will find a section describing this plan. Keith
DaKa2002 Posted February 2, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 2, 2018 We used Verizon travel pass when cruising in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand at a rate of $10 per day per phone. No problems in any of the ports. We did NOT use it aboard ship!
evandbob Posted February 2, 2018 #6 Share Posted February 2, 2018 I was only able to use Verizon on Caribbean islands (you don't say where you are traveling, so I'm guessing) that had Verizon service, not all do. There is no wireless phone service on the ship once it leaves port. You can however, use the cabin phone to call the continental US States for $1.99/minute. sanger727 Posted February 2, 2018 #8 Share Posted February 2, 2018 As far as avoiding marketing/junk calls - if that technology existed, everyone would employ it at all times. You wouldn’t be charged for calls unless you pick up so best strategy is not to pick up on a call from a number you don’t recognize.
