natlteam10 Posted February 17, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2018 Does the Sunshine have Telemundo? We are cruising the end of June during the World Cup the English telecast will be on Fox1, which i know is not on Carnival. However the Spanish telecast will be on Telemundo. Does anyone know if Telemundo is carried by Carnival? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Moviela Posted February 18, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2018 Telemundo parent company is Comcast through its NBC/Universal subsidiary. Carnival is purchasing its TV package for staterooms through Time/Warner. You most likely will not see any other programming in the cabins, however, important (and some not so important) sports programming may show up in the bars as they have a different commercial satellite subscription. JaxsMama Posted February 18, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2018 On the Magic a few weeks ago and all they had were Turner channels. Tnt, tbs, cnn, hln etc. However they did show nfl games on the bar tvs. You prob won't have the games in your room but my be able to watch in sports bar, casino bar or red frog pub. Rare Essiesmom Posted February 18, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 18, 2018 On Splendor last month, the sports bar had ESPN/ESPN2. When we weren't watching tennis (Australian Open) they had the world cup version of cricket. Also had NFL playoffs. Soccer World Cup? You can bet it will be on! If noone else, the crew will require it. EM

He spent our first anniversary with his brother & friends at an actual World Cup game, so you know I'm okay with him hanging out watching matches as long as it makes him happy. :D
