Has anybody ever really won in the Casino?

Went on RCCL cruise and went by the crap table to check the odds with $5.00 table . 1/1 odds unless your pass line bet was a minimum  of $25.00 ,and then it went to 2 x odds,  I kept walking . That night, it hit me, why not play both sides and cover the 12 with one dollar.

I did this and which allowed me to play up to $50.00 odds. Then did the same on the come bets.

I did have use another marker after I loaded all numbers with $50 odds , total on the  was $950.

Won , but only $1400

I still prefer the land base casinos with 100 x odds.

I guess it's your full time job now?

My wife and I just returned (Dec.20 ) from a cruise on Anthem of the Seas.We donated close to $600.00.The worst that we ever did on a cruise ship.On the last two nights everyone but us were winning .We will stick to land casinos.

On average you are going to lose long term.  Both on land and at sea.  But in general you will lose more slowly and have a better chance at beating the odds on land than at sea.

Unless you are a professional card counter playing blackjack you would not enter a casino with the mindset of making money, but rather with the mindset of being entertained.

While we didn't win directly on our last cruise on the MSC Seaside, we did win indirectly.

We put a fair amount of money through and won a few hundred dollars a couple times, but overall ended up about $1000 in the hole. But, we earned enough points that MSC gave us a $3000 discount on our next cruise (which we would have booked anyways), and we used that to book a 14 day cruise on the Meraviglia. (and our embarkation day is only a week from Sunday!).

So, when you take the discount into account, we ended a couple thousand up for our slot play.

I agree.  I have saved so much money with my casino discount on Princess, including a free cruise to Alaska last August.

I just received my win/loss statement for 2019.  Came out $688 ahead.  Combine that with 3 cruises booked with the casino discount and a free cruise, I'm happy.

Would you mind saying how long it took to get your statement.   I sent off for mine end of December.  Thank you

If you still need the information to request a Win-Loss statement, I just completed an online form from information given to me by the casino on the Grand Princess for the Ocean Players Club. The statement should be sent by e-mail within 2 business days. The form may cover all of the Carnival Corporation vessels; but I am not sure. Hope this helps.
