CRAZYBOBC Posted March 6, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2018 what is the cheapest way for a family of 4 to get from Port of Miami to FLL for a 2:30 flight the day of returning from cruise.
Rare Keith1010 Posted March 6, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2018 I would just take a taxi or Uber. To me other then walking (just being funny) that is the lowest cost. Keith

Sue1260 Posted March 6, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 6, 2018 Try SAS transportation I used them very dependable with clean well kept shuttles.
JohninDC Posted March 6, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 6, 2018 For 4 you can try SAS, QLS, MJS, Go Airport or other popular shuttles - fare should be about $15 per person - some will offer family or kid discounts. Four plus bags will be a real squeeze into a standard UberX, and UberXL or a van/SUV taxi will cost about $70+ for the same run from POM to FLL. CRAZYBOBC Posted March 7, 2018 Author #7 Share Posted March 7, 2018 I was thinking of renting a car, I believe Alamo has a free shuttle at the port to Miami Airport then rent car and drive to Fort Lauderdale airport. Uber is like 85 I figured a car rental for the day would be cheaper.

Uber is like 85 I figured a car rental for the day would be cheaper. But that takes a fair amount more time. Is it worth it?
nhraformula00 Posted March 7, 2018 #9 Share Posted March 7, 2018 SAS would be $ 13 P.P.= $52 total
paulh84 Posted March 7, 2018 #10 Share Posted March 7, 2018 I would Uber. A car rental makes no sense. With shared shuttles you may have to drive around all over the place. If you're off the ship by 8, it would be 9 before you had a car ready, a 45+ minute drive to FLL and you need to be at the airport shortly afternoon. You may have 2 hours to drive around at best.
